Accrington Stanley have signed Witton Albion winger Shaun Whalley following a successful loan spell. The former Chester City player, 19, has agreed a deal until June 2008 with Stanley paying a small fee to the UniBond League club.
Accrington defender Rikki Baines, 18, has also earned an extended stay with the former Coventry City youngster signing until the end of the season.
Stanley have released midfielder Joel Byrom and keeper Francois Dubourdeau.
