Kempson stays with Stanley
Preston defender Darran Kempson is to stay on at Accrington Stanley.

The 19-year-old centre-back has just completed his first month's stay at the Interlink Express Stadium.

"There's no timescale on it," said Reds boss John Coleman. "They are happy to let him stay with us and we're happy to keep him.

"He's learning all the time. He has some good attributes which he will adapt even more while he is playing first-team football."

Kempson is on work experience and not officially a loan player so the deal does not have to be formally extended.

He has started five Nationwide Conference games for Stanley and is waiting to find out whether he will earn a professional contract at Preston.
