Aberdeen have parted company with Bertrand Bossu after the goalkeeper decided to return to his native France.
The 28-year-old moved to Pittodrie from Walsall in May 2008 but made only three appearances as he failed to dislodge Jamie Langfield.
Bossu featured once during a two-year spell with the English League One outfit before heading to Aberdeen.
A statement on the club's website thanked Bossu for his professionalism during his time with the Dons.
Bossu began his career with RC Lens before moving to the United Kingdom for spells at Barnet, Gillingham and Darlington.
