Calderwood felt his side deserved to take a point at Pittodrie
Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood insisted his side were worth their 1-1 SPL draw with Rangers at Pittodrie.
The Ibrox side were denied what appeared a clean winner when DaMarcus Beasley's stoppage-time strike was ruled out for offside.
"We certainly deserved a point. I thought we were unlucky to go behind," Caderwood said.
"They're a big, strong team and they were causing us problems - I think we rectified that in the second half."
David Weir headed Rangers in front from a free-kick after 24 minutes but Derek Young levelled when he smashed in a rebound on the stroke of half-time with Aberdeen's first chance of the match.
"Our supporters, they love to beat Rangers," Calderwood added.
Asked where he hoped his side would finish this season, Calderwood said: "If I say sixth, I'll be getting crucified by Aberdeen supporters."
