Calderwood said the Dons could have scored five against Gretna
Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood said the 3-0 win over Gretna was a morale-boost for everyone at the club.
"It was important to try to out the hole we found ourselves in. We have got nearer Hearts, which is a big boost, " he told BBC Sport.
"The timing of Macguire's goal was important. Gretna probably took a bit more control in the second half. "But the penalty and the goal from Barry settled us and we could've got four or five."
