Calderwood must now prepare Aberdeen for the tie against Bayern Munich |
Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood tried to be upbeat despite a 5-1 mauling at home to SPL champions Celtic. Calderwood now faces the daunting task of lifting his team ahead of their midweek Uefa Cup tie against German giants Bayern Munich.
"We just have to get on with it - there is no point feeling sorry for ourselves because nobody else will.
"This one is done now - we have taken two massive hidings but we've got a great game to look forward to."
The Dons have now lost nine goals in their last two games, the defeat against Celtic following in the wake of a 4-1 loss in the CIS Insurance Cup semi-final by Dundee United.
