Jimmy Calderwood thought all Celtic's goals came from errors |
Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood threatened to give some of his misfiring players a rest in the stand after a 3-0 defeat by Celtic. "If certain people are not doing it then they will have to go have a rest somewhere, either in the stand or on the bench," he told BBC Sport.
"We had some nice moves, but we never really hurt them.
"I'm not taking anything away from Celtic, I thought they were brilliant. They put us under intense pressure."
But Calderwood said his main problem was the mood in the camp as they prepare to visit Atletico Madrid in the Uefa Cup.
"It's a confidence thing at the moment," he said, pointing out the errors that led to Celtic's goals.
"We didn't clear it properly for the first goal and Celtic got a massive lift," he said.
"The second one, Chris Clark tried a square ball and got punished. And after the third minute of the second half, another stupid mistake.
"It's hard enough going to this place without giving goals away."
