Smith turned out for the Aberdeen reserves on Wednesday |
Aberdeen have signed up two promising teenage English attackers on transfer deadline day. Striker Jonathan Smith, 19, has penned a one-year-deal at Pittodrie, having been released by Wigan.
And Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood has taken Sone Aluko, 18, on loan from Birmingham until January.
Aluko is an England youth international and made his debut for the first team as a sub in the Blues' 2-1 Carling Cup win over Hereford on Tuesday.
Sone is primarily a striker but can also be deployed as a left-winger.
