Mair beats former Dundee Utd team mate Lee Miller to the ball |
Dundee United defender Lee Mair has completed his pre-contract agreement with Aberdeen, his agent has told BBC Sport. Charlie Duddy says Mair will join his new team-mates for pre-season training.
"All the paperwork is done and he will be at Pittodrie for pre-season training and the club's summer trip to Egypt," he said.
Mair, 26, was brought to Tannadice by Ian McCall but has fallen out of favour under current boss Craig Levein.
The two-year-deal sees Mair join his hometown club until the summer of 2009.
Mair arrived at Tannadice in January 2005 from Stockport where he had a short spell after leaving city rivals Dundee.
The player has made 17 appearances this season and scored the winner against Rangers in United boss Levein's first match in charge of the club.
