Jimmy Calderwood admitted that Aberdeen simply ran out of luck against league leaders Celtic at Pittodrie. The Dons lost to a late goal by Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, and the manager said: "I thought we had weathered the storm in the second half.
"I was feeling that Celtic had run out of ideas at the time of the goal.
"We did everything we could do defensively, although Celtic maybe deserved the win because of the amount of possession they had."
