Paul Robinson left York at the end of the season |
Aberdeen will not be signing striker Paul Robinson and the 26-year-old is considering quitting the game. The former Newcastle forward turned out as a trialist for the Dons this week along with Swede Andreas Haddad, who has also left Pittodrie.
"I played the game and probably didn't do as well as I could have," Robinson told the P&J.
"I've become a bit disillusioned with football in the past few years - I don't know if I really want to play."
Robinson, who once cost Wimbledon 1.5m, and fellow striker striker Haddad featured in a 3-1 closed-doors victory over Dundee on Tuesday night.
Transfer-listed striker Steven Craig grabbed a double and Chris Maguire one.
Robinson, who was with York City last season, this month rejected terms with Ross County after a successful trial with the First Division club.
Haddad, a 23-year-old who is available for a nominal fee from Assyriska in his native country, was substituted against Dundee after being injured.
