Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood thought his side deserved a slice of good fortune to win at Hibs. "Easter Road is a very difficult place to come and, although the goals came from a couple of mistakes, we were sharp and alert in the first half.
"Hibs threw everyone forward after the break and we rode our luck at times, with Riordan twice hitting the post.
"We were forced deep but we had no choice and I think we were due some luck after the last few months."
