2155: Well, that's it from me. Thank you for your contributions. Highlights of Rangers v Dundee United and St Johnstone v Hamilton will be on the BBC website at midnight, highlights of Aberdeen v St Mirren will appear during the day on Wednesday. Remember to return to the site for more live coverage of Scottish football on Wednesday evening, including that crucial Hearts v Celtic game as well as Inverness v Hibernian and Motherwell v Kilmarnock.

From Sam Ross in Stirling by text on 80295: "Thanks a million Walter for everything you've done for the fans and Rangers Football Club. You will always be a Gers Legend. We love you for that."

Twitter
From swizzo_owen on Twitter using #bbcsportsound: "Now... Can Killie do a Caley and Rangers do a Celtic?"

Twitter
From thedarrenhudson on Twitter using #bbcsportsound: "Hamilton down a shame for them; but please leave Ali Crawford and Imrie on your way out, thanks."

2149: The title race continues with Rangers keeping the destiny of the SPL championship in their own hands. A Celtic win at Tynecastle or even a draw in Edinburgh will mean a final-day championship decider on Sunday with Rangers travelling to Kilmarnock and Celtic hosting Motherwell.

2146: So, two things have been decided this evening, with Hamilton relegated to next season's First Division and Hearts, who benefitted from Dundee United's defeat, confirming third place ahead of playing Celtic tomorrow evening.

2141: Walter Smith is walking around the Ibrox pitch taking the applause of the Rangers fans after his last home match as manager.

Hamilton are relegated from the SPL as St Mirren avoid the drop. Accies' defeat to St Johnstone and The Buddies' win over Aberdeen has created a six-point gap between Hamilton and St Mirren with one game to play.

2138: FULL-TIME Aberdeen 0-1 St Mirren
FULL-TIME St Johnstone 1-0 Hamilton

It's all over at Ibrox and Rangers have moved four points clear of Celtic at the top of the SPL, with Celtic having the chance to cut the gap back to one tomorrow evening against Hearts. Dundee United's chances of overtaking Hearts are over with the Edinburgh side confirmed as the team finishing third.

Full time
2136: FULL-TIME Rangers 2-0 Dundee United

2135: We're into injury time in all three matches.

2132: St Mirren's David Barron has not recovered from that challenge by Nick Blackman and is replaced by David van Zanten.

Yellow card
2131: Aberdeen substitute Nick Blackman picks up a yellow card for a heavy challenge on St Mirren's David Barron seconds after coming off the bench.

2127: BBC Scotland commentator Jim Spence labels the rain at McDiarmid as being of "Monsoon proportions". His commentating side-kick Craig Paterson jokes: "Can we have the game called off with 10 minutes to go?"

2126: Dundee United go close again when substitute Stuart Armstrong's 25-yard drive strikes the outside of a Rangers post.

2124: A slip by Madjid Bougherra allows Jon Daly to fire a drive at Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor, who is able to beat the ball away as Dundee United sense some nervousness in the Rangers defence.

2120: Dundee United goalkeeper Dusan Pernis plays a bit of basketball before holding a Nikica Jelavic header from a corner at the second attempt.

2117: A curling Nikica Jelavic free-kick from 25 yards slips just over the Dundee United crossbar.

2116: Aberdeen's first real effort of the night. Chris Maguire's dipping volley flashes across goal and wide but the home fans are encouraged to see their team getting forward.

2115: The rain continues to lash down at McDiarmid Park but the players, to their credit, are still trying to get the ball down and create.

2109: Dougie Imrie flashes a ball from the left across the St Johnstone goal, but there's no-one from Hamilton to capitalise - it's not looking like Accies' night.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
A goal out of nothing at Pittodrie. Gareth Wardlaw's shot from Darren McGregor's knock-down squirms under the body of Jamie Langfield to give the visitors the lead.

2108: GOAL Aberdeen 0-1 St Mirren (Wardlaw)

2105: St Mirren are lying deep and inviting a bit of pressure onto themselves but Aberdeen are still searching for that incisive spark.

"Walter Smith has come down from the stand again and I wonder whether he is considering bringing McCulloch on to tighten things up in the middle" BBC Sportsound pundit Gordon Smith

2102: Penalty save! Liam Craig steps up to take his second spot-kick of the evening but Tomas Cerny guesses correctly to make the save.

2100: Another penalty for St Johnstone. Peter MacDonald is tripped in the box by Simon Mensing and Saints have the chance to score a second.

2100: The passage of play at McDiarmid is pretty rough as the rain continues to fall heavily onto the McDiarmid Park pitch, making an already tricky surface, even...well trickier!

"This is one of the worst football matches I've ever seen in the SPL. It's absolutely atrocious" BBC Sportsound pundit Allan Preston at Pittodrie

2057: It continues to be a nervy affair at Pittodrie with St Mirren keen to protect what they have against a fairly inexperienced Aberdeen side. Chris Maguire tries to break the impasse with a fierce driven ball across the box but there are no takers for the Dons.

2056: Rangers go close to another goal when Nikica Jelavic sends a low cross flashing across the face of the Dundee United goal and Kyle Lafferty just fails to connect on the slide.

2052: St Johnstone midfielder Chris Millar gets the space at the edge of the Hamilton box to produce a shot that slips wide of Tomas Cerny's right-hand post.

2050: Rangers' Steven Naismith comes into collision with United goalkeeper Dusan Pernis after racing into the area to meet a ball that was cleared but both players are unharmed.

2049: All three matches have resumed for the second half.

2047: Dundee United are making a change at the break with Jon Daly coming on for Johnny Russell.

Twitter
From paddyhannon1 by Twitter using #bbcsportsound: "Rangers are picking up some momentum coming into the home run! Come on!"

Twitter
From DaxCrosby by Twitter using #bbcsportsound: "Houston made a major, game-changing, mistake by leaving Daly on the bench"

2034: All three SPL matches have reached half-time. Rangers kept their two-goal lead intact at the break, the next goal could be crucial in that match. St Johnstone are a goal and a man up over Hamilton, who threatened a couple of times before going behind. At Pittodrie, there's not much to report with neither side yet able to create a clear-cut chance.

Half time
2034: HALF-TIME St Johnstone 1-0 Hamilton

Half time
2032: HALF-TIME Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

Half time
2031: HALF-TIME Rangers 2-0 Dundee United

"There are just signs that Rangers are hoping to get it to half-time. United are getting a bit of space and know, if they can get a goal, it would put a lot of pressure on Rangers" BBC Radio Scotland pundit Billy Dodds

2029: St Johnstone's Dave MacKay spins a ball goalwards only for it to deflect off the Hamilton defence as the rain teems down at McDiarmid Park.

2027: Ryan Jack meanders his way across the St Mirren box but Steven Thomson bravely blocks to take the pressure off.

2026: Aberdeen's Rob Milsom almost takes advantage of a slip by John Potter but the St Mirren defence recover to avert the danger.

2024: Hamilton manager Billy Reid has decided to switch his team around before half-time with David Elebert coming on for David Buchanan.

2022: Hamilton are still probing for an opening at McDiarmid Park but St Johnstone, with the one-man advantage, are coping thus far.

"St Mirren will know that they still have their own job to do" BBC Sportsound commentator Scott Davie

2018: Chances are still scarce at Pittodrie but the news of Hamilton falling behind will no doubt be filtering through to the St Mirren fans.

2017: As things stand, with Hamilton losing and St Mirren drawing, Hamilton will be relegated. Can they turn things around?

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Liam Craig coolly slots home the penalty to give St Johnstone the lead and 10-man Hamilton a bit of a mountain to climb.

2016: GOAL St Johnstone 1-0 Hamilton (Craig, pen)

Red card
2015: Penalty for St Johnstone and a red card for Hamilton. Mark McLaughlin is penalised for felling Saints' Andy Jackson and the Hamilton player is dismissed for denying a goalscoring opportunity.

2012: A chance at either end in Perth as Hamilton's Nigel Hasselbaink has a shot saved by Peter Enckelman moments after St Johnstone's Jamie Adams had volleyed into the arms of Tomas Cerny.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Kyle Lafferty puts Rangers in control at Ibrox after Steven Naismith slides a fine pass into his fellow forward's path and the Northern Irishman drives the ball low into the far corner after another breakaway from the Glasgow side.

2010: GOAL Rangers 2-0 Dundee United (Lafferty)

2009: Dundee United goalkeeper Dusan Pernis saves Keith Watson's blushes when he just beats Kyle Lafferty to the full-back's poor pass-back.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Steven Whittaker's inswinging cross from the left is headed into the net by Nikica Jelavic to give Rangers the lead over Dundee United.

2007: GOAL Rangers 1-0 Dundee United (Jelavic)

2005: Another chance missed for Rangers as Nikica Jelavic lifts a volley over the crossbar from inside the penalty area.

"It's almost being played between the 18-yard lines at the minute" BBC Sportsound commentator Scott Davie on a cagey start to the match at Pittodrie

Someone has struck the woodwork
2001: Dundee United are fortunate not to go behind when a curling drive from Rangers forward Kyle Lafferty rebounds off the inside of the far post.

2000: Nikica Jelavic heads wide of the Dundee United goal after meeting Maurice Edu's chip.

1958: Scott Severin produces what could have been a goal-saving header from in front of the Dundee United goal after Kyle Lafferty connected with a Steven Davis cross and came close to finding Maurice Edu.

1957: St Johnstone striker Peter MacDonald flashes a shot over the Hamilton crossbar after being found at the back post.

"It's so important for St Mirren that they put the ball in the right areas tonight" BBC Sportsound pundit Allan Preston after an early free-kick for the Buddies goes straight into the arms of Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield

1953: Nikica Jelavic is the next Rangers player to threaten with a snap shot from just inside the box, but the low effort is straight at Dundee United goalkeeper Dusan Pernis.

1952: Jon Routledge is on the end of Dougie Imrie's perfectly weighted cross from the right but heads straight at St Johnstone keeper Peter Enckleman who makes a reasonably easy save.

1951: Steven Naismith weaves his way into the Dundee United penalty box after playing a couple of one-two's with team-mates. But, just as the Rangers man was about to strike for goal, fellow forward Kyle Lafferty nipped in with a scuffed shot wide.

1951: Not much happening at Pittodrie with St Mirren defender Lee Mair getting a talking to by the referee after an early challenge on Chris Maguire.

1949: Dundee United are the first to threaten at Ibrox with a long-range drive from Keith Watson that powers a couple of feet over the Rangers crossbar.

"The occasion, with it being Walter Smith's last game at Ibrox and the race for the title, gives Rangers a huge edge" BBC Sportsound pundit Billy Dodds

1948: Nigel Hasselbaink fires the ball into the St Johnstone net but the Hamilton forward is flagged offside.

1947: The game at Pittodrie is also underway and St Johnstone have got things started at McDiarmid Park.

1946: Dundee United kick off at Ibrox.

1943: We're nearing kick-off time and the players are starting to make their way on to the pitch at Pittodrie, Ibrox and McDiarmid Park.

"Every time it's a must-win game. We can't influence what goes on at Pittodrie. Winning breeds confidence and I think that's important at the moment." Hamilton manager Billy Reid on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound

1932: Meanwhile, Sportsound's Jim Spence understands Brentford have offered the job to McInnes.

1931: St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes has just told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound that he has spoken to Brentford about their managerial vacancy but there is nothing more to report than that.

Referee: Euan Norris

1928: This evening's match at Ibrox is Walter Smith's last home game as Rangers manager but his assistant and successor Ally McCoist insists the only thing Smith wants to mark the occasion is a Rangers win.

"We'll be taking absolutely nothing for granted, this is a tough, tough match. Patience might be required, it probably will be required." Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist

1922: By the way, all three games kick off at 1945 BST.
