2156: Well, that's it from me, thank you for all your contributions. Highlights of Dundee United v Aberdeen will be available on the BBC website from midnight.
Dundee United take all three points. Aberdeen improved in the second half and Josh Magennis certainly made a difference to their attacking play but Danny Swanson's goal ended the visitors' hopes of taking anything from the match. The Tangerines move up to fifth in the Scottish Premier League and still have two games in hand. Aberdeen remain 10th.

2140: Goalkeeper Dusan Pernis collects another effort by Aberdeen's Josh Magennis.
"Of course it was a penalty. If the striker gets there first and the defender leaves his leg in, it is bound to be a penalty. Stonewaller." BBC Sportsound pundit Billy Dodds
2139: United striker David Goodwillie goes down in the box after being challenged by Rory McArdle but referee Brian Winter says no penalty.
markovanwatson on Twitter via #BBCSportsound: "We have desperately misssed chris maguire tonight. No pace up front. Aberdeen still have a long way to go."
2136: Aberdeen's Josh Magennis blasts in a shot and goalkeeper Dusan Pernis blocks well at his near post.
gaznanna on Twitter via #BBCSportsound: "we need to sort the centre of defence. Diamond needs to go and no one has really covered themselves in glory"
"You have got to go for it now and it looks like Aberdeen are going with three at the back and will have plenty of firepower up front if they can get the ball to them." BBC Sportsound pundit Craig Paterson on the introduction of Nick Blackman
2133: Aberdeen make their last substitution, Nick Blackman replacing David McNamee.
2128: Dundee United make another change with David Robertson coming on for Danny Swanson.
2127: Danny Swanson tries to lob Jamie Langfield in Dundee United's breakaway attack but the midfielder had already been flagged offside as the ball drifts out.
2124: United are still pressing after that third goal and we're now into the last 25 minutes.

"If Aberdeen can score, the game completely changes, but a third goal is more likely as United are on top." BBC Sportsound pundit Craig Paterson
The first half ends with Dundee United well on top. The home side have a two-goal lead and have looked dangerous throughout. Aberdeen have not been helped by the loss of Zander Diamond but they need to get more service to their attacking players in the second half if they are to come back from two down.

"It is a catalogue of errors. McNamee's header was poor and Craig Conway's got plenty of power in it but Langfield has shown what we call lettuce leaf hands and it has gone into the net." BBC Sportsound pundit Billy Dodds
Craig Conway's shot from outside the box swerves through the air and squirms past Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield.

dacamern on Twitter via #BBCSportsound: "Aberdeen to win 2-0. Vernon to score both!"
"This pitch looks very good. Our form has been very inconsistent. We play a very good half and then an indifferent half. Our defending has been good and I hesitate to say it, we have not lost a goal in four matches. If we have any chance of progressing up the league, we want to be quite adventurous because there is quite a difference between winning and drawing." Aberdeen manager Craig Brown

1940: A win for Aberdeen would take them on to 34 points along with seventh-place Dundee United, who have played three games fewer.
"A very tough game because Aberdeen are a very tough side to beat just now. We'll have the same system with Goodwillie through the middle and Swanson and Conway either side and three in the midfield." Dundee United manager Peter Houston
