1410: Thanks very much for your company for what was a cracking match. I'm away for a cup of tea and a lie down to soothe my aching fingers. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
1406: "I think the better team won. We gave ourselves a mountain to climb by playing particularly poorly in the first half." Dundee United manager Peter Houston slams his team's showing in the opening period.
1403:
"We were fantastic today. Not being disrespectful to Dundee United, I thought we should have scored more in the first half. But, overall, I thought it was a superb performance." Celtic manager Neil Lennon is happy with his side's performance.
1401: Well, after today, Celtic stay top of the SPL, five points clear of Rangers, while United remain sixth, level on points with St Johnstone - but with two games in hand over the Perth side.
1356: Apologies. Missed a yellow card flashed to Beram Kayal 6 minutes from time, which I think means a suspension for both the Israeli midfielder and Daniel Majstorovic.
1352: It's all over at Tannadice, Celtic come out on top in what was a very entertaining match. They extend their unbeaten run to 16 games, while Dundee Utd must feel gutted after giving everything to get back into the match.
FULL-TIME: Dundee Utd 1-3 Celtic
1350: One minute of stoppage time remaining, and Samaras thighs the ball over the bar from a couple of yards out.
1349: We're into stoppage time, with the visitors carving a sucker-punched Utd open.
1346: Hooper almost erases his 'd'oh' moment immediately, tapping the ball home from a couple of yards out...but the assistant referee's flag keeps the scoreline as is.
1345: Wait till you see this on the highlights later tonight! Gary Hooper collects a wonderful pass six yards out, shimmies past a United defender, and promptly trips over his own feet with the goal at his mercy. It'll take a long time to live that one down.
1343: Six minutes left, and that Majstorovic goal seems to have quenched the fire in Dundee Utd bellies. Peter Houston's side look pretty dispirited at the moment.
1340: "This has been the best game I've seen this season," purrs BBC Radio Scotland commentator David Begg. Do you think so? Or has Beggy put the foot to the floor on the hyperbole pedal?
1339: Celtic make another change as captain Scott Brown is replaced by Freddie Ljungberg.
1336: Charlie Mulgrew flights in a curling free-kick into the box and Swedish defender Daniel Majstorovic dives to head the ball past Pernis and into the net. Cruel on United who had come back into the match, but Celtic will feel home and dry now.
GOALFLASH: Dundee Utd 1-3 Celtic (Majstorovic)
1331: It's not been Sean Dillon's day as Gary Hooper picks up on his poor headed pass-back and races into the box. Luckily for Dillon, goalkeeper Dusan Pernis palms Hooper's low shot onto the post.
1327: David Goodwillie brings out a fine save from Celtic keeper Fraser Forster as Anthony Stokes makes way for Samaras.
1326: Celtic substitute Georgios Samaras is warming up on the touchline, he may well be on the pitch soon.
1324: "It looks like the pitch might have taken its toll on some of the Celtic players, who are looking a bit heavy-legged," says BBC Radio Scotland pundit and Aberdeen midfielder Paul Hartley.
1322: The ball is lashed into the Celtic net from only a couple of yards out by David Goodwillie after the visitors' defence fail to deal with a Craig Conway free-kick.
GOALFLASH: Dundee Utd 1-2 Celtic (Goodwillie)
1321: It is indeed Ki for Commons, and United bring on Johnny Russell in place of Prince Buaben.
1320: Ki will replace Commons for Celtic says Mr Spence on the touchline, while BBC Scotland pundit Paul Hartley flags up that he thinks Celtic look tired.
1318: Both sides look ready to make a change according to BBC Scotland's touchline reporter Jim Spence.
1315: The rain still comes down in sheets over Dundee, as Craig Conway volleys well over after Celtic goalkeeper Forster punches a cross unconvincingly.
1313: Sean Dillon picks up United's first booking of the afternoon, for a challenge on Gary Hooper.
1310: Morgaro Gomis is getting hooked, while Danny Swanson is preparing to come on for Dundee United.
1308: Daniel Majstorovic heads for goal from a corner but sends it past the post. The big man really should have done better with that one and Celtic would have been on easy street.
1304: Dundee United look a bit more composed, but Celtic look strong at the back and seem capable of weathering anything that comes their way (if you'll pardon the pun).
1303: The players are back out on the pitch and we're back underway for the second half at Tannadice.
1300: John Gallacher is not impressed with the home team's performance today: "United are a shadow of the team they were last year" on the Sportsound Facebook page
HALF-TIME: Dundee Utd 0-2 Celtic
1247: David Goodwillie, who has been pretty quiet so far, bursts into the Celtic box from the inside right channel...his shot flashes just wide from a very tight angle, but perhaps he should have passed the ball across the face of goal.
1246: Anthony goes down under a Sean Dillon challenge inside the six-yard box. Nothing doing from referee Mike Tumilty though.
1245: It's pinball in the home box as Stokes and Joe Ledley see shot blocked by a tangerine wall of defenders.
1241: And he's joined by teammate Daniel Majstorovic. Two minutes, two bookings. It's like waiting for a bus.
1239: Goalscorer Wilson picks up the game's first booking for his celebration.
1238: Would you believe it, another deflected goal, as Mark Wilson stabs out a foot at Scott Brown's low cross and the ball deflects off Sean Dillon's foot over Dusan Pernis and into the net.
GOALFLASH: Dundee Utd 0-2 Celtic (Wilson)
1235: Fraser from Scone has texted 80295 to claim that: "according to my spreadsheets Tannadice is the only SPL ground yet to see a red card this season." We're awfully grateful to your spreadsheets Fraser.
1232: Gary Hooper lashes the ball not far over from about 20 yards out. This is good stuff despite looking more like swamp soccer at times.
1228: Comedy classic as Kris Commons tries to latch on to an Anthony Stokes pass inside the United box...only to take a fresh air swipe at the ball. Don't worry Kris, I did that at fives the other night too.
1225: John Shields sings the praises of BBC Radio Scotland's match commentator: "Can I just say that David Begg is the best commentator on radio. Listening to him just now and I could actually be at the match." on the Sportsound Facebook page You can say it John, you can say it.
1221: Prince Buaben is one-on-one with Celtic keeper Fraser Forster, but he can only hit the Englishman's legs as he races off his line. A big chance missed for the Taysiders.
1220:Anthony Stokes flashes a shot across goal from inside the box, it deflects off the luckless Utd defender Garry Kenneth and into the net. First blood to the visitors.
GOALFLASH: Dundee Utd 0-1 Celtic (Stokes)
1218: First chance for the home side, but Prince Buaben launches a shot from a tight angle well over.
1216: Celtic probably shading things at the moment, Kris Commons puts a close-range volley just wide.

1211: "It is pretty open with both sides looking to attack. It has been a cracking start" BBC Radio Scotland pundit and Aberdeen midfielder Paul Hartley is enjoying the fare on offer so far.
1210: First serious attempt on goal as Charlie Mulgrew lets fly a free-kick from just outside the box, comfortably collected by Dusan Pernis in the United goal.
1207: Woops! Celtic captain Scott Brown has the first stumble of the match as he slips at the far touchline. To be honest, I'm surprised it's taken so long for someone to go over.
1205: The touchline camera lens is covered in drops. Will this match last the full 90 minutes? It's been a bright start so far.
1204: We're underway as Dundee Utd kick-off.
1202:Dundee United have won only one of their last 43 meetings with Celtic according to BBC Scotland commentator David Begg.
1201: The teams are out on the pitch with captain Scott Brown leading out Celtic, having shaken off the groin injury that prevented him playing for Scotland in midweek.
1159: "I think the game will be won in the middle of the park - Celtic have more there, and they have more of a goal threat. United's midfield will have a tough afternoon, and that's where the game will be won." BBC Scotland pundit Paul Hartley talks tactics at Tannadice.
1158: Team news from Tannadice: Both sides make one change. Midfielder Morgaro Gomis comes in for suspended striker Jon Daly for United. For Celtic, it is the opposite change, a striker for a midfielder, with Anthony Stokes replacing Ki Sung-Yeung. Celtic manager Neil Lennon said Ki had been left out because he has had a busy schedule with South Korea.
1155: "It is a heavy pitch and, if there was not a fixture congestion, the game might not have gone on. At the end of the day, the most important thing is the safety of the players. (Referee) Mike (Tumilty) did have major concerns and the skies are black and there is a lot of heavy rain still to come here. But the referee has deemed it playable and we get on with it." Dundee United manager Peter Houston seems to agree with his Celtic counterpart.
1153 "I do have reservations about parts of the pitch. There are bits that look quite dangerous and it is only going to get worse" so says Celtic manager Neil Lennon. The weather is not looking brilliant.
1142: Neil Reid wonders "If Neil Lennon will have a moan about something today?" on the Sportsound Facebook page
1132: Here's a little gem for all you stats fans out there: Both sides are unbeaten since 10 November. Celtic have gone 15 without defeat since a 2-0 reverse away to Hearts, while United have not lost in 11 games since going down 2-1 at home to St Mirren. Included in those runs was a 1-1 draw between the sides at Celtic Park on 20 November.
1131: The drama has started already this morning, with the Tannadice pitch having passed an 0815 pitch inspection. The match is on, but, with more rain in the celestial pipeline, referee Mike Tumilty is continuing to monitor the situation.
1130: Good morning and welcome to to our Scottish Premier League coverage as Celtic travel to Dundee Utd for the first time since a certain match in October. In case you've forgotten, the fall-out from that encounter included a referee's strike. Let's hope more of the drama today comes from goals hitting the back of the net.
