Good point - I reckon winter would be a good time to have the winter break...
1500: And we're off around the country!
1458: Getting close to kick-off folks - not long to go now. We'll keep you informed of all the action throughout the afternoon (what there is of it). Can Hearts go level with Celtic in the SPL (yes - we know, they'll have played two more matches) or will Jim Jefferies' side reach a terminus in their recent run of good form?
1455: "Pipes obviously held out at Tynecastle. Interesting to see which of the two managers has steam coming out of their ears first." from bringthemonjpn on My Sport.

Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall feels the ref made the right decision, but seems reluctant to get involved in the politics.
1450: There's a big debate taking place on sportsound about all the talk over reconstruction of Scottish football - chief among the issues being discussed is the size of the leagues and a winter shutdown. The winter shutdown seems a no-brainer, but what do you - the fans - want in terms of league distribution? Ten teams in a league? 14? 16? 18? Let us know what you believe would work best for the good of everyone.
1446: Getting closer to kick-off time. If you're listening to Sportsound on Radio Scotland 810MW and 92-95FM, or if you're out at a match, send us your views via SMS on 80295 or to [email protected] and we'll use the best entries here on the live clockwatch.
