Garry Hay fired in a 64th-minute strike to level the scores against St Johnstone
Kilmarnock twice came back to claim three points in a five-goal thriller against St Johnstone.
Peter MacDonald handed Saints a 36th-minute lead but hobbled off injured shortly afterwards.
Killie's Chris Maguire fired home from close range to level then Graham Gartland's 64th-minute header gave Saints back the lead.
Garry Hay fired in a 64th-minute equaliser and Kevin Kyle sent in a late close-range header for the winner.
Cillian Sheridan had the first clear-cut chance when he got in behind the Killie defence after 26 minutes, but Bell smothered the striker's poked finish from a tight angle.
Danny Invincibile then produced a close-range air shot that Chris Maguire followed up by blazing over.
Chris Millar's drive from a Killie clearance was deflected behind, but Saints took the lead nine minutes before half-time when Dave Mackay fed MacDonald, whose attempted lay-off deflected back to him off an opponent for him to sweep home left footed.
MacDonald injured himself in the process and was replaced three minutes later with Kenny Deuchar.
Severin had to bail out Bell with a clearance behind when the new man skipped past the keeper in the box.
But Killie levelled in the final minute of the first half when Saints failed to clear a free-kick and Maguire lashed home from close range.
Gartland re-established the lead for Saints shortly after the restart, sending in a glancing header from Danny Grainger's cross beyond Cammy Bell.
The advantage was short-lived as Hay shot into the right-hand corner in the 64th minute from a tight angle following a well-worked free-kick to level.
Jamie Hamill swung in a cross for Liam Kelly to lash in a right-footed shot from inside the area that ended up clearing the crossbar.
Former Kilmarnock captain Kyle found the net in the 76th minute with a headed goal from close range after good work by Mehdi Taouil.
Saints ran out of steam in the final 10 minutes as Jimmy Calderwood's side picked up another three valuable points.
