Kris Boyd hit his seventh goal in five games for Rangers
Rangers salvaged a draw against bogey team Dundee United in a topsy-turvy encounter at Tannadice.
Kris Boyd put Walter Smith's side ahead after 11 minutes with a neat finish from the edge of the box.
However, two second half goals in four minutes put United in control as Lee Wilkie and Warren Feeney headed home expert crosses from Paul Dixon.
Rangers secured a point when Nacho Novo set up fellow substitute Kyle Lafferty to net on 76 minutes.
The visitors were first to threaten when Boyd sent a high ball into strike partner Kenny Miller's path, but he was ruled offside in a tight decision.
Roles were reversed after seven minutes when Miller played in Boyd, but his first touch was poor and the chance was lost.
It didn't take long for the pressure to pay off as Rangers took the lead after 11 minutes.
A Steven Whittaker ball towards the box was dummied superbly by Steven Davis, leaving Boyd to turn Lee Wilkie and finish expertly with his left foot.
That was the recently retired Scotland front man's seventh goal in five games and 17th strike of the SPL season, while just the seventh goal conceded by the home side at Tannadice this season.
It was nearly 2-0 after 16 minutes when a poor kick out by Lukasz Zaluska was headed forward by Pedro Mendes, only for Dixon's vital touch to divert diverted the ball wide with Kris Boyd lurking.
United's Morgaro Gomis picked up the game's first booking after 20 minutes for a foul on Kenny Miller as Rangers kept up the pace, with Craig Levin's side only threatening in flashes.
Conway was the home side's main source of inspiration and he danced into the Rangers penalty box on 27 minutes before the danger was cleared.
It was that man Conway who set up United's best chance of the match approaching the half-hour mark. Daly found yards of space to send in a header that Allan McGregor blocked superbly.
The action was heating up now and Miller was set scampering free on the left wing, but could not find a team-mate after cutting into the box.
United continued to look vulnerable defensively and Wilkie struggled to deal with a long ball. Miller got a touch after snapping at his heels and a combination of the defender and Zaluska saw the danger averted.
Levein's side had the first chance of the second half when Conway's centre found Daly in the box, but he sent his header wide of the target.
It wasn't long until they were level when Dixon's surging run down the left resulted in a perfect cross and Wilkie was at the back post to send the ball across McGregor and into the net on 50 minutes.
United were under pressure moments again moments later when Mihael Kovacevic had to expertly time a tackle in the box to deny Miller.
However, they turned the tables with their second goal in four minutes when Dixon again sent in another fantastic cross from the left and Warren Feeney headed past McGregor.
United looked a different team as they forced the tempo of the match. Rangers manager Walter Smith replaced Lee McCulloch with Kyle Lafferty just after the hour mark as he looked to salvage the game.
The Ibrox team made another switch on 69 minutes when Nacho Novo came on for Kenny Miller as the visitors became more desperate.
The Spaniard made a telling impact not long after coming on as he set up the unmarked Lafferty for Rangers to level on 76 minutes.
Smith's men piled on the pressure as they searched for a winner and Pedro Mendes sent an effort fizzing wide as time began to run out.
But that was the end of the action in a frantic encounter at Tannadice.
Dundee United manager Craig Levein:
"It was another great game and maybe next time, if we're going to get a draw, can we be the team that comes from behind? It just feels like another kick in the teeth to be leading and for them to peg us back.
"I said to the boys at half-time that, in my eyes, we'd lost half a dozen players. I didn't know where they were - because it wasn't the guys who were on the pitch in the first half, guys who I know can play so much better than they did.
"We had played poorly in the first half and were still very much in the game. I knew, if we could find some kind of form in the second half, we'd have a chance of winning.
"But I've got to be complimentary to Rangers. They've been strong to come back and get a point."
Rangers manager Walter Smith:
"We're pleased to come back after being 2-1 down. I felt we had the better of the first half. We scored early, had opportunities to add to that lead, and was a little bit disappointed going in just 1-0 up at half-time.
"United had their best spell just after half-time where they scored a couple of goals. After that we huffed and puffed, managed to get the goal back and had a little bit of pressure and finished stronger.
"We're disappointed that in that 15-minute spell after half-time that we didn't defend with a better edge."
