Kilmarnock's exciting forward Steven Naismith has been named the SPFA's young player of the year. The 20-year-old has netted 17 times so far to help the Rugby Park club clinch a top six place in the SPL.
Naismith saw off competition from Scott Brown of Hibs, Rangers' Charlie Adam and Celtic midfielder Aiden McGeady.
Naismith made his Killie breakthrough in August 2004 and was voted the Scottish football writers' best young player last year.
