Teenage striker Leighton Mcintosh levelled on 50 minutes from 12 yards off Craig Forsyth's cross into the box.
Stirling are now 14 points adrift at the bottom, with only four games left to play, while Dundee are four points above Cowdenbeath in second-bottom.
