McDonald had mixed fortunes from the spot at Recreation Park

Alloa's Kevin McDonald atoned for an earlier penalty miss with a leveller to earn a draw against Peterhead in Scotland's only game of the day.

The hosts conceded a penalty when Willie Gibson felled Nicky Clark and Ryan Strachan fired home the opener.

Stuart Noble equalised but Clark's header restored Peterhead's lead.

John Bateman saved McDonald's penalty after Bryan Prunty was fouled but McDonald fired home from the spot after David Ross felled Noble to make it 2-2.
