Cowdenbeath moved level on points with third-placed Falkirk after overcoming First Division rivals Dundee.

Mark Ramsay's left-footed shot beat Dundee goalkeeper Rab Douglas to give the hosts an 11th-minute lead.

And Brian Fairbairn doubled Cowden's advantage just before half-time with a superbly struck free-kick.

Dundee's Colin McMenamin tested keeper David Hay twice before Leigh Griffiths netted a consolation and hit the crossbar in the final 10 minutes.
