Stirling Albion moved to within three points of second-top Cowdenbeath with a late Second Division victory at Forthbank Stadium.
Chances were rare for most of the match with each side having speculative attempts at goal.
However, Michael Mullen volleyed home Christopher Aitken's corner to put the home side ahead on 78 minutes.
Cowdenbeath created a couple of openings as they pressed for an equaliser, but Stirling held on.
