Bryan Scott scored twice as Arbroath held Division Two leaders Stirling Albion at Forthbank.
In a thrilling first half, Scott headed home from Steven Rennie's cross after just seven minutes.
Stirling equalised after 10 minutes when Scott Robertson nodded in, then Scott grabbed his second of the game with a header to level the scores.
David McKenna restored parity when he headed home Martin Grehan's chip then Darren Hill saved a Paul Murphy header.
