Division Two champions Raith Rovers have to wait until the second fixture to greet their home fans as they are away to Queen of the South.
Newly promoted Ayr United are at home to Partick Thistle.
Dundee host Morton, while Livingston travel to Dingwall to take on Ross County on the opening day.
The first Fife derby of the season is on 29 August, when Rovers make the short trip from Kirkcaldy to face Dunfermline at East End Park.
Rovers will be able to celebrate their championship win when they host Dundee on 15 August.
