Joe Hamill scored the only goal of the game as Livingston saw off relegation-threatened Clyde at Broadwood.
Hamill broke the deadlock after 22 minutes, controlling Tony McParland's cross and firing the ball past the helpless David Hutton.
Clyde, who are facing relegation and eviction from Broadwood, were reduced to 10 men in the 60th minute.
Willie McLaren lashed out off the ball at Livi substitute Gary Miller and received a straight red card.
Moments earlier, Clyde's Robbie Winters fell in the box under a challenge from Danny Griffin, but referee Colin Brown waved away the penalty claims.
Livingston should have sealed victory with 13 minutes remaining but Hutton managed to save Hamill's 25-yard effort at the second attempt.
