Queen of the South 0-1 Dundee

Dundee recorded a narrow win over Queen of the South at Palmerston Park, courtesy of Colin McMenamin's strike.

The visitors took the lead on the half-hour mark when Queens goalkeeper Bryn Halliwell parried Chris Posniak's shot and McMenamin fired home the rebound.

Queens improved after falling behind but were unable to create any meaningful opportunities.

And Dundee should have extended their lead when Andrew Shinnie shot wide with only Halliwell to beat.
