Second Division leaders Brechin City consolidated their league position with victory at Forthbank Stadium.

Gary Twigg gave the visitors the lead five minutes before half-time when he took advantage of Nathan Taggan's mistake to sweep the ball home.

Kevin Byers doubled the advantage on 52 minutes, meeting Charlie King's cross to drive past Myles Hogarth.

Albion pulled one back three minutes later as debutant Martin Grehan lashed the ball into the net from 14 yards.
