Steven Milne's goal on the half-hour mark gave St Johnstone victory over Livingston at Almondvale.

Milne received the ball on the edge of the box from Derek Holmes cross and curled the ball into the net.

The home side missed a superb chance to equalise on 53 minutes when Gordon Smith headed Rocco Quinn's cross over.

Victory brings Saints to within one point of Livingston, who remain joint-first in Division One with Queen of the South and Dunfermline.
