A single goal from Kevin Bradley was enough to give managerless Montrose victory over Albion Rovers.
The match sparked to life after 22 minutes when John Baird who dragged his shot wide of the Rovers' post.
A minute later it was Albion's turn when Marc Pollock's strike from 30 yards rebounded off the crossbar.
It was the visitors who took points on 78 minutes when Paul Stewart played a ball across the face of goal to reach Bradley who tapped it in the back post.
