Dundee shared the spoils with Partick Thistle in a drab draw at Firhill.

Dundee almost took the lead when Craig McKeown met Freddy Daquin's corner but was denied by Paul Patton's clearance.

Alex Rae was forced to name a trialist substitute, but the Jags almost netted in 37 minutes when Mark Roberts volleyed Mark Twaddle's cross.

Neither side could manage a second-half goal, despite efforts from Thistle's Simon Donnelly and Dundee's Bob Davidson as it ended in stalemate.
