East Fife became the first British side to win a league title this term with success in the Scottish Third Division.
Dave Baikie's side went 24 points clear at the top of the table with Paul McManus netting an early double.
The striker tucked in the rebound after Gary O'Connor had saved his sixth minute shot and he slotted in a cool finish soon after.
The celebrations started when Greig McDonald headed home a corner from Kevin Fotheringham after 76 minutes.
"It's a fabulous day," East Fife manager Dave Baikie told BBC Sport.
"We were disappointed to lose out in the play-offs last last year but this makes up for it.
"I've got a great blend of youth and experience and a chairman who has backed me to the hilt."
