East Fife 0-3 Queen's Park
(agg: 2-7)

SFL
Queen's Park eased to promotion with a 7-2 aggregate victory over East Fife in the Second Division play-off final.

The Spiders got off to an ideal start when the ball was put into the path of Paul Paton, who powered in the opener from 25 yards after just four minutes.

Paul Walker fired just wide for the Fifers, but Alan Trouten shot home off the underside of the bar after an excellent David Wetherston cut back.

Substitute Frankie Carroll broke clear to stroke the ball home late on.

It means the Glasgow amateur outfit, who had finished in third place in the table, return to Division Two for the first time since 2001.
