David Weatherston fired the Spiders into the lead at Hampden |
Queen's Park scored two late goals at Hampden to take a lead into the second leg of their Second Division play-off. After a goalless first half Arbroath could have taken the lead in 53 minutes, but Willie Martin's penalty was saved by keeper David Crawford.
The Spiders took the lead in the 77th minute when David Weatherston fired home from Mark Ferry's headed pass.
Weatherston was then felled in the box by Robbie Raeside - who was sent off - and Alan Trouten scored from the spot.
