By David McDaid

2130: So Rangers take their place alongside Aberdeen, Inverness, Hamilton, Motherwell and Celtic in tomorrow's draw to be made by the combo bizzarro of SFA president George Peat and... ehhhh... Biffy Clyro. Maybe he's a huge fan. I dunno. Anyway, plenty more Scottish Cup football tomorrow evening. As usual BBC Radio Scotland will have it covered on Sportsound on 810 MW. Tune in or miss out. It's as simple as that. Cheerio!

My Sport
SrnasLoveChild on My Sport says: "Man of the match for me is Papac. Did nothing wrong the whole match and linked up well when attacks went down the left."

"This is the highest expectation Killie have had coming to Ibrox for a along long time. But they were really put in their place by Rangers, who were well on top right throughout the match." Scotland manager Craig Levein on Sportscene

"A potential tricky cup tie for Rangers, but they handled it superbly. Kilmarnock have been different class this season, but a harsh lesson for them tonight." BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds

Full time
FULL-TIME: RANGERS 3-0 KILMARNOCK

2120: Nearly a consolation for Killie as Silva curls a shot just round the post.

2118: Two minutes to go at Ibrox. Killie have played some nice build up stuff, but Sammon's been isolated up front fro most of the game, and it's Rangers who are deservedly going into tomorrow's draw with a clinical display.

2114:
Yellow card
Killie's Hay picks up a yellow for scything down Edu just outside the box. From the resulting free-kick McCulloch again stings the palms of Cammy Bell. THEN from the corner Bell touches ANOTHER McCulloch shot onto the post. The Killie keeper's having a great 10 or 15 minutes.

"It's been a night of frustration for Connor Sammon up front for Kilmarnock." BBC Scotland commentator Liam McLeod

2110: Twice in the space of mere seconds Killie keeper Cammy Bell prevent his team from going 4-0 down, with good stops from Weiss and Whittaker. The Gers have been rumoured to be be interested in taking him to Ibrox.

"Kilmarnock will be looking to avoid conceding any more goals so as not to dent their confidence." BBC Scotland pundit Billy Dodds

2106: And when Killie do get a clear sight of goal, they find Allan McGregor in top form. The Scotland goalie denies Sammon from six yards with his feet.

2103: Third and final change for Rangers. Richard 'Don't-call-me-Ricky' Foster replaces Naismith. Killie also swap Hamill for Tim Clancy.

2100:
Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
No sooner is he on the park than Vladimir Weiss tears into the box only to be upended by Jamie Hamill, who goes into the book. Whittaker steps up to stroke the ball high to Cammy Bell's right and virtually end any hope Kille had of getting back into the tie.

GOAL: RANGERS 3-0 KILMARNOCK (Steven Whittaker)

2058: Liam Kelly has a pop from about 25 yards for Killie. Nice strike, always rising though.

2056: And it's James Beattie and Jamie Ness who make way.

2055: Double change in the offing for the home side... Vladimir Weiss and Maurice Edu are preparing to enter the fray.

"Killie are playing a very attacking style now." BBC Scotland's Gordon Smith

2052: That was a bit of a let-off for Killie. Rangers captain David Weir rises to meet the ball from a corner, but the quadragenarian's header hits the turf and bounces over.

"Beattie looks like he's running in sand with tatties in his pockets." Graeme in Banchory via the wonder of text on 80295
I feel like we're giving Beattie pasting, but I think it's fair to say he hasn't had the most productive evening. But, hey, what do we lay people know? Maybe Walter Smith would say he's doing the unglamorous, unsung hero work. Ok, maybe not...

2047: James Beattie has a pot-shot from a bizarrely acute angle. It might have been one of the goals of the season if he had made it, but instead it goes over.

2046: Looks like an enforced change for Killie. Craig Bryson looks to have twisted his knee. On for the Killie captain is David Silva. Rui Miguel also comes on for Manuel Pascali

2044: And right on cue Jamie Ness clatters Eremenko... Free-kick wasted though. Terrible delivery from the Finn.

My Sport
green_pegasus on My Sport says: "Killie haven't showed up, whether this is down to Rangers being aggressive and more up for it or Killie just being totally rank, perhaps a bit of both."

2040: Official attendance at Ibrox tonight - 13,215. Very low. Lowest for how long at Ibrox, I wonder...

My Sport
Its oh so quiet Ssshhh Sssshhh on My Sport says: "I'm all for tough tackling, but Rangers' rough 'em up tactics have been poor. Killie have played the better football."

2035: We're back playing at Ibrox, where Killie have it all to do to save their Scottish Cup campaign.

"There's a lot of negotiating to be done, but David Goodwillie would be a good fit here at Ibrox." says the Scotland manager Craig Levein on Sportscene. And he should know, having worked with the Dundee United hitman at Tannadice. Rangers had a bid for Goodwillie rejected last week.

"If Kilmarnock can produce anywhere near the kind of performances they've been producing this season then they've got a chance." Scotland manager Craig Levein on Sportscene

"Kilmarnock have not been an attacking force in any way." BBC Scotland's Chick Young
It's certainly not the Killie we've enjoyed watching this season. A lot of that has to do with the way Rangers are snuffing out their play-makers.

"The big disappointment for Kilmarnock is that their big players haven't got into the game." BBC Scotland pundit Pat Nevin

Half time
HALF-TIME: RANGERS 2-0 KILMARNOCK

My Sport
Scamilton on My Sport says: "Reckon because Kenny is out the squad, Lafferty realises that there is a slot open for him and so he's raising his game?"
You might have a point there. He's finally getting to play through the middle - where he prefers.

2012: Rangers are on song. But I've just heard James Beattie's name mentioned for the first time in the game. I'd forgotten he was even playing.

2008:
Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Another cracking goal from Rangers. Sasa Papac broke from left-back, passed inside to Lafferty, who took a couple of touches before smashing a low diagonal drive past Cammy bell from the angle of the box. Sweet strike.

GOAL: RANGERS 2-0 KILMARNOCK (Kyle Lafferty)

2007: Allan McGregor had to look sharp there, making a save from Sammon. The Killie forward pounced on a slack pass by Rangers captain David Weir, tore down the right and made the goalie save at his near post. Better stuff from the Ayrshiremen.

2005:
Yellow card
That's the hat-trick of yellow cards for Rangers now. Lafferty joins Naismith and Davis for tugging back Mehdi Taouil by his jersey.

My Sport
Guntbuster on My Sport says: "Rangers are pressing the ball so much Killie can barely get a touch, it's great to watch."

2001: Connor Sammon has his first glimpse at goal of the night. Eremenko goes forward, draws the Rangers central defenders before slipping it to Sammon. But the big Irishman's left-footed shot goes high over the bar.

"At times they're going a little bit over the top." BBC Scotland's Derek Ferguson is not impressed by Rangers' tough tackling approach.

1959: Rangers' Lafferty gets away without a card after a tackle on Liam Kelly. Killie boss Paatelainen was outraged on the touchline.

"It's just not happening for Killie at the moment. They can't get Connor Sammon involved up front." BBC Scotland commentator Liam McLeod

1955:
Yellow card
Meantime, there's been another yellow for the home side. Steven Davis goes into the ref's book for a challenge on Eremenko again. Davis is not a player who picks up a lot of cautions. Eremenko seems like a marked man.

"That goal had definitely been coming." BBC Scotland's Billy Dodds

1951:
Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Lovely strike by the midfielder. Steven Davis drove forward through the midfield, passed to Lafferty, who laid the ball off for McCulloch to put his laces through it. He certainly did that and the ball zipped low into the corner of the net from about 20 yards.

GOAL: RANGERS 1-0 KILMARNOCK (Lee McCulloch)

"I think Rangers are the dominant team in the match. They knew Kilmarnock were capable of causing a shock here tonight, but Rangers just aren't letting them get into the game" BBC Radio Scotland's Billy Dodds

1947:
Yellow card
Steven Naismith marks his return to the Rangers XI with a yellow card, after the forward takes out Eremenko with a sliding tackle from the side.

My Sport
I am not as think as you drunk I am My Sport says: "Disagree with Billy Dodds, I don't believe that Kenny Miller would necessarily be able to reproduce his early season form in the second half, particularly if his mind is already elsewhere."

1943: Killie are trying to get Alexei Eremenko and Craig Bryson involved in midfield. That pair have been so influential for Paatelainen's team this season. The big Finn says he still has no idea how long Eremenko will be on loan at the club.

1941: Lafferty goes a bit closer with a volley from a corner. The Northern Irishman takes it first time beyond the near post and it goes about two feet wide.

1940: Early on it's Rangers who are enjoying the territorial advantage. Steve Whittaker looks in the mood to get forward too from right-back. he'll need to adjust his shooting boots though. That last effort was well off target.

1937: Kyle Lafferty receives some treatment... meanwhile, in the VIP box at Ibrox is the SPL chief executive Neil Doncaster.

"It's very unusual to see the burger van below me shut." What is BBC Scotland commentator David Begg going to do at half-time? But it illustrates the low attendance at Ibrox this evening.

1934 An early chance for Rangers... Steven Naismith gets to the left byeline cuts the ball across the six yard box, but no one is making the run to get on the end of it and Killie clear. THAT might be where Miller would normally have been to stick it away.

1933: "Kenny Miller will be a huge miss to Rangers. There's so much to his game, but losing 22 goals will be massive." BBC Scotland's Billy Dodds

1933: A few minutes behind schedule, but referee Steve O'Reilly has got the game under way in Govan.

BREAKING SCOTTISH CUP NEWS: Ok, not MASSIVE news, but the Threave Rovers v Stenhousemuir THIRD round replay is off yet again. That was re-re-re-re-re-re-re-scheduled for tomorrow night.

1928:"If you've watched Kilmarnock play recently, you'll know anything could happen here tonight." BBC Radio Scotland's Chick Young.

"Hopefully plenty of fishfood for big Sammon tonight. Come on the Killie!" Texts Jim T on 80295. Not Jim Traynor, surely!

1925: Not long until kick-off now, but the guys on Sportsound reckon there's not much more than 1000 people at Ibrox. 12,000 is the forecast. Still, no the best crowd is it?

1923:Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen is one man who won't miss 22-goal man Miller: "He's a player who scored a hat-trick against us last time, so we're very happy he's not playing. But Rangers will want to start well after their Old firm defeat."

1920: So Rangers leave their top scorer Miller out... Here's what the Gers assistant manager Ally McCoist had to say about that: "Kenny was originally in the squad but with a couple of bids and speculation it was in his best interest that he stays away tonight."
As you'll probably know, Rangers have accepted an offer from Birmingham for the forward, but McCoist also says they have NOT yet agreed a fee with Fiorentina, who are also interested.

1918: Killie bring in Gary Hay for Ben Gordon at left-back. Gordon has gone back to his parent club Chelsea. No James Fowler in the Killie squad either. Manuel Pascali comes in for him.
KILMARNOCK TEAM: Bell, Hamill, Wright, Sissoko, Hay, Pascali, Taouil, Bryson, Eremenko, Kelly, Sammon.

1914:VERY interesting from a Rangers point of view... Kenny Miller is not even on the bench tonight for Rangers... his place in the team is taken by James Beattie. Apart from that Steven Naismith is back from injury, and Jamie Ness keeps his place in midfield.
RANGERS TEAM: McGregor, Whittaker, Bougherra, Weir, Papac, Davis, McCulloch, Ness, Naismith, Beattie, Lafferty.

1913:Ok, straight into the team news coming out of Ibrox...

1910:Evening all! Five teams already through to the Scottish Cup fifth round, 11 more to join them. Tonight Rangers and Kilmarnock have the chance to book their place in the draw at Ibrox.
