Partick Thistle 2-1 Berwick

Partick Thistle had to come from behind to beat Third Division Berwick Rangers in the ALBA Challenge Cup second round.

Berwick took the lead after 28 minutes, when Andrew McLean turned in Paul McMullan's cross from close range.

The First Division side equalised after 40 minutes through Paul Cairney's 20-yard shot and he and Conrad Balatoni tested Ian McCaldon before the break.

David Rowson sent Thistle through with a volley from the edge of the area with 10 minutes remaining.
