By Thomas McGuigan

1425: So, Celtic book their place in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup, but not before a major scare against an impressive Dunfermline at East End Park. Remember, there will be highlights of today's game and all the weekend's fifth-round ties on BBC Two Scotland tonight at 2200 GMT.
Thanks again for your company today, fingers crossed for Scotland against France in this afternoon's Six Nations opener at Murrayfield.

1420: "When we took the lead we sat back too deep and it would've been nice to go in at half-time in the lead. Robbie Keane gave the crowd a lift and is such a clever player, he caused us problems. But I'm proud of my players today." Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre

1415: "That's why we're here: to entertain. There was some good and bad football from us today. We've still got work to do as I was disappointed at the goals we lost, but we're through." Celtic manager Tony Mowbray

1414: Celtic striker Morten Rasmussen's second goal at East End Park was in fact an own goal from Calum Woods. TV replays show the ball came off the Pars defender before finding the net.

1407: Robbie Keane leads the Celtic players as they salute the away fans inside East End Park. A cracking cup tie and Dunfermline ran their SPL opponents mighty close today.

Full time
1406: DUNFERMLINE 2-4 CELTIC

1404: Joe Cardle's attempted lob evades Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc but slides wide of goal.

1402: Aiden McGeady feeds Georgios Samaras but the Greek balloons the ball over the bar for a Dunfermline goal kick. We're into three minutes of injury time.

1400: "Dunfermline can be happy with their efforts today. A number of Celtic players still have a lot more to give; Scott Brown is only playing at about 20% at the moment." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Pat Nevin

1358: Willie Gibson and Edson Braafheid are urged to "cool it" by referee Charlie Richmond as things threaten to boil over.

My Sport
From DKeith0904 On My Sport: "Surely Mowbray is safe? The Celtic board have made him a long-term investment, I'd think they wouldn't want to pay him off. He'd probably have to lose the plot and start playing McGeady in goals and Boruc up top to get the bullet." Even if Celtic fail to land the title this season I'd be amazed if Mowbray doesn't remain at Celtic Park.

1353: Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre continues to cajole his players for one final effort. The introduction of Robbie Keane tipped the balance of the tie in Celtic's favour and his appearance has added some fire to the visitors' bellies.

1351: A little over 10 minutes remaining for Dunfermline to perhaps sneak a goal to set up a barnstorming finish to an entertaining cup tie.

1350: Aiden McGeady and Landry N'Guemo trade passes before the Republic of Ireland international scampers down the right. The impressive Austin McCann is on-hand to nullify the threat.

1348: A reminder that highlights of today's tie at East End Park and a round-up of all Saturday's Scottish Cup action will be shown on BBC Two Scotland tonight at 2200 GMT.

1346: Graeme Holmes comes on for goalscorer Andy Kirk as Pars boss Jim McIntyre shuffles his pack in the hope of finding an ace.

1345: The Pars are searching for a way back into this cup tie but that fourth goal has knocked the wind from their sails.

1343: Dunfermline come roaring back and Willie Gibson's corner drops invitingly for Neil McGregor but he dithers and Celtic clear.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Dunfermline's Austin McCann tries to dispossess Robbie Keane in full flight but fells the on-loan Spurs striker and referee Charlie Richmond points to the spot. Keane dusts himself down and fires home the penalty for his first goal in Celtic colours. Cue his trademark celebration.

1340: GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 2-4 CELTIC (ROBBIE KEANE)

1339: Penalty for Celtic.

1337: Dunfermline defender Calum Woods stops Diomansy Kamara in his tracks but the Pars full-back suffers a knock in the process. That's the last action for Kamara, who is replaced by Aiden McGeady.

1335: Whatever was in the half-time tea inside the Celtic dressing room seems to be working. The bumblebees are suddenly swarming all over Dunfermline and Georgios Samaras spurns a great opening wide on the right.

1333:
My Sport
From TheBhoyInKorea On My Sport: "I love Rasmussen. Exactly what Celtic have been calling out for."

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Celtic may have a player on their hands here: no, not Robbie Keane, but Morten Rasmussen. The predatory Dane scores his third goal for the club in two games, forcing home Diomansy Kamara's low centre from inside the six-yard box. Celtic lead for the second time of a pulsating cup tie.

1330: GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 2-3 CELTIC (MORTEN RASMUSSEN)

1328: Pars keeper Greg Fleming to the rescue again as he denies Robbie Keane after the Irishman's mazy run takes him within a few yards of the Dunfermline goal.

1327: Celtic manager Tony Mowbray urges on his troops 10 minutes into this second half. The introduction of Robbie Keane appears to have galvanised the visitors but defensively they're still looking suspect.

1326: Dunfermline goalkeeper Greg Fleming does brilliantly to parry Robbie Keane's cross and then deny Morten Rasmussen his second goal. Tremendous save!

1325: Not every Celtic fan has patience... "Mowbray should be sacked. Davie Hay to be manager and restore the passion and pride." Text to 80295 from Allan in Falkirk

1323: Andy Kirk pick-pockets possession from Landry N'Guemo on the halfway line and the Pars are almost in on goal. Nervy times for the visitors.

1322: (bigmc1_9) Boyd_The_Diver asks Hoops fans to be patient. "Come on, fellow Celtic fans, let's face reality, Mowbray is still building a team, it's going to take time to gel, we really need to get behind the team. Come on Celtic!"

1320: Willie Gibson fires in a shot at goal but it's straight at Boruc and the Celtic keeper gathers comfortably. The Pars fans are in fine voice at the start of the second half.

1318: Dunfermline force an early corner. Here's another test for that shaky Celtic defence... Artur Boruc earns a dubious free-kick after referee Charlie Richmond blows for a foul but the Pole is all over the place.

1316: Robbie Keane limbers up on the touchline and trots onto the pitch to cries of "Keano" from the Celtic fans. The Irishman is on for Marc Crosas, as the second half gets under way.

1313: Scotland manager Craig Levein is putting a brave face on the tough draw for the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. "I'm excited and I'm pretty sure a lot of Scotland supporters will be looking forward to Spain coming to Hampden - and also maybe a little holiday to Spain. They should be favourites to win the game if they play to form but a five-team group may make it easier to get that second place."

1309: BBC Scotland pundit Pat Nevin is questioning whether Celtic captain Scott Brown is fit enough to play after his ankle operation. The midfielder has yet to fire on all cylinders since his move from Hibs. Celtic certainly need some leadership on the pitch during this rocky spell.

1304:
My Sport
From TheBhoyInKorea On My Sport: "This is pitiful. TM talks about getting the team needing time to gel but them makes seven changes so how can they possibly gel? I do know they were poor v Killie but I guess Keane and McGeady will have to form their understanding by chatting on the bench." It's surprising to see so many changes when Celtic are struggling for consistency. The defence looks as solid as a chocolate fireguard...

Half time
1302: DUNFERMLINE 2-2 CELTIC

1300: Celtic's tails are up as we enter stoppage time at the end of the first half. Morten Rasmussen affords himself a little smile: that's two goals in as many games for the signing from Brondby.

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Celtic restore parity two minutes before the break but it might not save them from a tongue-lashing from Tony Mowbray. Morten Rasmussen fires home the equaliser from close range at the second attempt after his initial effort was parried by Greg Fleming. Four goals, bookings, a penalty, goalmouth action - this is what the Scottish Cup is all about!

1258: GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 2-2 CELTIC (MORTEN RASMUSSEN)

1257: "This first half is flown by. Can Dunfermline survive until the break?" BBC Radio Scotland pundit Pat Nevin

1256: Edson Braafheid's corner finds Glenn Loovens free in the box, but the Dutchman heads well over.

1255: Dunfermline scramble the ball clear for a Celtic corner after a bit of head tennis in the box.

1253: Celtic manager Tony Mowbray looks on in disbelief as his disjointed side struggle to string two passes together. With a little over seven minutes remaining in the first half it's difficult to recall captain Scott Brown doing anything of note.

1251: You have to go back to October 1989 for the last time Celtic lost to the Pars at East End Park. Ross Jack and Istvan Kozma were the goal heroes that day. Will David Graham and Andy Kirk achieve similar legendary status in 2010?

1250:
My Sport
From Ronaldo's Ball-Swerving Sixth Toe On My Sport: "Pathetic stuff from Celtic. They have the best squad in Scotland, but you couldn't tell from this match. I can't see how they're supposed to be challenging for the SPL title like this."

1249: "Andy Kirk's 15th goal of the season and he won't have enjoyed one more than that!" BBC Radio Scotland commentator Rob MacLean

1247: The home fans inside a pulsating East End Park are roaring on the Pars, Celtic supporters are becoming increasingly restless - what a cup tie!

1245: With Tony Mowbray yet to decide his favoured central defensive partnership, the uncertainty is beginning to bite for this Celtic side. Any ball through the middle from the Pars is unsettling Glenn Loovens and Josh Thompson. Testing times for the SPL side; the Pars can smell blood here...

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Incredible scenes at East End Park. Celtic defender Paul Caddis concedes a penalty for a nudge on David Graham in the box. Caddis is booked and Andy Kirk fires the ball past Boruc from the spot. The Pars lead, with Celtic's defensive deficiencies haunting Tony Mowbray once again.

1242: GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 2-1 CELTIC (ANDY KIRK)

1241: Penalty to Dunfermline!

Dunfermline, a little over 60 seconds going behind, break down the right and Nicky Phinn's clever cross finds David Graham in acres of space and he sends a low shot past the helpless Artur Boruc. Game on!

Goooooooaaaaaaaaal
Where to begin after a crazy couple of minutes? Georgios Samaras sees his shot cannon back off the bar after a great cross from Edson Braafheid, the ball breaks to Dimonsay Kamara moments later and he fires home an unstoppable shot.

1236: GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 1-1 CELTIC (DAVID GRAHAM)

1234: GOAL! DUNFERMLINE 0-1 CELTIC (DIOMANSY KAMARA)

1232: "Dunfermline just haven't been able to get up the field in the opening 15 minutes." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Pat Nevin. Celtic camped in Dunfermline territory but they are lacking a cutting edge.

1231: Georgios Samaras picks up the ball in midfield, finds Diomansy Kamara but he spurns a good opening wide on the right and the Pars thump it clear.

1228:
My Sport
From Wilco01 On My Sport: "When is the draw for the quarter finals?." The draw will take place on Wednesday afternoon, Wilco.

1227: Dunfermline are snapping at Celtic heels at every opportunity, it's got the makings of a cracking cup tie!

1226: Marc Crosas sends a free-kick in from the right, defender Glenn Loovens flicks the ball on inside the box but Celtic fail to profit from a good opening.

1224: Nearly 10 minutes played and neither goalkeeper has been seriously tested.

1222: Braafheid is less accurate with his second corner as it goes straight out for a goal kick! Paul Caddis appears Celtic's most potent weapon in the early stages, the hosts have yet to settle.

1220: Celtic debutant Edson Braafheid sends in a dangerous corner but Dunfermline keeper Greg Fleming punches clear.

1219: "There's a cracking atmosphere at East End Park today, just what you want for a Scottish Cup tie." BBC Radio Scotland pundit Pat Nevin.

1217: With Marc Crosas restored to the Celtic line-up after missing the midweek defeat by Kilmarnock, the visitors will be looking to establish some rhythm in midfield. The game has yet to settle in the opening three minutes.

1216: Celtic captain Scott Brown tries to find striker Morten Rasmussen with a threaded ball from midfield: the winds of change are blowing through this Celtic outfit since Tony Mowbray succeeded Gordon Strachan.

1215: We're under way at East End Park.

1210:
My Sport
From Boogie Bear On My Sport: "One of those so-called "no-win" games for Celtic and Mowbray. If they beat lower league opposition, even by a few goals, who cares? If they don't beat them..." Mowbray's side will be looking to go on a winning run to salvage their season.

1207: Pars boss has told BBC Scotland his side will be 4-3-3 on the attack and revert to 4-5-1 when defending this afternoon.

1206: Celtic manager makes seven changes to the side that lost to Kilmarnock in midweek. Robbie Keane and Aiden McGeady are on the bench, left-back Edson Braafheid makes his debut following his loan move from Bayern Munich.

1205: DUNFERMLINE V CELTIC Here are the teams from East End Park. Dunfermline: Fleming, Woods, Bell, McGregor, McCann, Gibson, Dowie, Phinn, David Graham, Kirk, Burke. Subs: Paterson, Ross, Cardle, Holmes, Willis. Celtic: Boruc, Caddis, Loovens, Thompson, Braafheid, N'Guemo, Brown, Crosas, Kamara, Samaras, Rasmussen. Subs: Zaluska, Keane, McGeady, Zhi, Rogne. Referee: C Richmond

1203: We'll get to team news from East End Park in a second, with Robbie Keane named on the bench for Celtic. But come out from behind the couch Scotland fans. The draw for Euro 2012 qualifying has pitched the Scots in the same group as Spain, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Liechtenstein in qualifying. Ouch!

1200: Dunfermline host Celtic in the fifth round of the Active Nation Scottish Cup as the teams attempt to reach the quarter-finals and prolong their dreams of a big day out at Hampden in May.
