Queen of the South have been rewarded for their first semi-final in more than 50 years with a tie against either Celtic or Aberdeen.

The Doonhamers secured the date after a 2-0 win over Dundee at Palmerston Park.

Meanwhile, the winners of the replay between St Johnstone and St Mirren at Love Street will play Rangers or Partick Thistle.

Rangers beat Hibs in Sunday's fifth-round replay to set up a home tie with the Jags on Wednesday 19 March.


Scottish Cup semi-finals:

St Mirren or St Johnstone v Rangers or Partick Thistle

Queen of the South v Aberdeen or Celtic.

Games to be played on 12/13 April at venues to be confirmed.
