The Scottish FA will decide whether Dundee United goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska should face charges for his behaviour in the CIS Insurance Cup semi-final.

Police were unhappy with gestures he made towards some Aberdeen fans and warned him about his future conduct.

Aberdeen and Dundee United have also been asked for their views on the minor crowd trouble which saw various missiles thrown from the stands.

A coin, thrown from an area of Tynecastle housing Aberdeen fans, struck referee Iain Brines as he sent off Dons striker Lee Miller.

And the game was briefly halted after Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield was pelted by missiles, including a plastic cup.

"My penalty area was full of chocolate bars, lighters and �1 coins," said Zaluska after United's 4-1 win.

"If I had grabbed all of them, I could now afford a good dinner in an elegant restaurant."

If the SFA review panel determine that Zaluska has a case to answer, the Polish keeper will be summoned to a disciplinary committee meeting on 18 March.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood refused to blame the defeat on the missile-throwing incident involving Langfield.

"That would be sad if it affected his concentration," he said.

"You need to have a bit of personality and get on with it.

"It was only a carton of milk."

United's victory sets up a final meeting with Rangers at Hampden on 16 March.
