East Stirlingshire beat Dumbarton for the second time in four days thanks to two goals apiece from Sean Simpson and Kevin Struthers in the Challenge Cup.

Robert Campbell squeezed home a Paul McQuilken cross for the visitors, but new signing Simpson weaved through the defence to equalise a minute later.

Simpson fired Shire in front, but Campbell hit back straight away.

However, Struthers pounced after Anton Nugent saved a free-kick then grabbed the winner with a diving header.
