The New Saints promise attack in Bangor title decider
Davies has been at TNS since 2004
Welsh Premier League leaders The New Saints have promised an attacking display in their final-game title decider at second-placed Bangor.
A draw would be enough for Saints to retain the championship, but boss Mike Davies has pledged to go for the win.
"The lads won't want to try to defend a draw because that's not what they're about," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We'll go there and be positive and as attacking as we've always been and try to get the win."
Saints go into the final match of the season this Saturday one point clear of Bangor and with a superior goal difference.
They could have clinched the title earlier had they not fallen to a surprise 3-2 home defeat by Neath in their previous game but one.
But Davies added: "We're still happy to be in this position when you consider that Bangor were 16 points clear of us at one stage.
"We've had a horrendous list of injuries this season, but there's a tremendous spirit here - the players never gave up, and it's been a fantastic comeback."
The League winners will represent Wales in the Champions League.
