Cardiff City will travel to Premier League side Stoke City in the FA Cup third round.

The Bluebirds reached the fifth round last season where they were beaten 4-1 by holders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, who went on to retain the trophy.

Swansea City, who will be hoping to make it beyond the third round this season, have been drawn at home to League One outfit Colchester United.

The ties are to be played weekend of 8/9 January, 2011.
