Bangor City successfully retained their Welsh Cup title with a 2-0 win over Aberystwyth at the Parc y Scarlets.

Les Davies' 44th minute header from Sion Edward's free-kick broke the deadlock as the Welsh semi-pro striker celebrated his 19th goal of the season.

Davies turned provider to set up strike partner Christian Sergeant who smashed home the second just after the break to win Bangor a seventh Welsh Cup crown.

Aberystwyth striker Graeme Evans hit the post but Bangor qualify for Europe.
