Wales mourns loss of striker Hill

Welsh football

Former Ipswich Town and Wales international striker Mick Hill has died at the age of 60.

He won two Wales senior caps in October and November 1971, in European Championship matches in Czechoslovakia and Romania.

Hill, who lived in Hereford, qualified to play for Wales through his father's birthplace.

He is the third ex-Wales international to die in recent weeks, following Derek Tapscott and Ron Stitfall.
