Cardiff City have been drawn away against League Two side Bournemouth in the first round of the Carling Cup.

The Bluebirds reached the fourth round stage last season eventually losing 2-1 to Premier League side at Liverpool.

Swansea City, who lost to Reading in last year's second round, will also face a League Two side with Brentford the visitors to the Liberty Stadium.

The one-legged first-round matches are due to be played in the week commencing 11 August.
