Colwyn Bay and Newport County have sacked their managers after the clubs failed to reach their targets.
Colwyn Bay's 4-2 win over Spalding could not save Gary Finley after the club ended eigth in Unibond Division One South.
Newport County's failure to reach the Blue Square Southern League play-offs cost Peter Beadle his job
Beadle's downfall came after a 2-1 home defeat to Fisher Athletic on Saturday ended their promotion hopes.
A statement on the Colwyn Bay website read: "Colwyn Bay Football Club have taken the decision to relieve Gary Finley of his position with immediate effect. A further statement will be released shortly."
Newport County chairman Chris Blight said: "Our board of directors have decided that we do not want the services of Peter Beadle."
Newport County won this season's FAW Premier Cup, but that was deemed not good enough by the club hierarchy.
Blight added: "The FAW Premier Cup was one target, but for the last five years that I've been chairman I've advocated the fact that as far as we were concerned we wanted promotion to a higher level of football.
"At the time we obtained the services of a manager we believed would give us the opportunity to look at that and provided him with the tools necessary - from his point of view - to think we would achieve our goals and unfortunately that hasn't happened.
"Personally I got on very well with Peter. He's well-read in the verses of football and even as late as the end of March it was Peter's belief that we could win the league, let alone just get into the play-offs.
"Several directors spoke to Peter at that time and asked him if he needed any extra ammunition for this final surge at a time when we were well-advance in points to be able to look at securing a position.
"I honestly believe we should have really done that. But when you look at the last 10 games, we drew one, won three and lost six and it wasn't what we expected with the sort of budget we were paying out.
"When the final whistle went on Saturday, next season started."
Blight says the club has not lined up a replacement. He said: "We don't have anybody specific in mind and we will now look towards securing a replacement as quickly as possible."
