The New Saints have clinched their place in the Uefa Cup, barring a mathematical miracle from Rhyl.

John Toner scored the only goal on Tuesday as the Saints beat Rhyl 1-0 to all but guarantee the runners-up spot in the Welsh Premier.

TNS could technically still win the title but need to make up eight points on leaders Llanelli.

Anything but a win in Friday night's game away to Airbus UK would decide the title.

If The Saints do fail to beat Airbus, it would leave the final-day game against Llanelli at Oswestry as one to play for pride.
