Wales are top of group 10 after an impressive 4-0 win over Malta in their Uefa Under-21 championship qualifier. Manchester City's Ched Evans headed home a free-kick on 62 minutes to break the deadlock.
Substitute Simon Church then doubled the lead with 10 minutes to go before Rhys Williams made it 3-0 two minutes from time.
Evans completed the rout from the penalty spot with his second goal of the game in injury time.
Manager Brian Flynn said: "I am very pleased but a little bit frustrated after the first 45 minutes, but the second half was excellent.
"We made a couple of changes and tactically we adapted to them.
"It was a comfortable win but after the first half, we'd have taken a 1-0 win but all credit to the lads, they came in and played really well.
"To be at the top of the table at this moment in time, everyone in Wales has to be pleased with that and we've now got the added pressure of being favourites but I know we can handle it."
