Toshack praised his team after the win over Norway |
John Toshack hailed his young Wales side after they beat Norway 3-0 in a friendly at the Racecourse. Carl Fletcher's first Welsh goal and a second-half brace from Jason Koumas secured the win on a poor pitch.
"It was very satisfying particularly with the players we were missing once again," said the Wales boss.
"In the second half we made changes, it didn't interrupt our game and to see so many young lads out there performing in difficult conditions is pleasing."

Toshack also singled out Carl Fletcher for his contribution to the Wales side.
"He really is proving to be an important member of our side and I'm pleased for him," he said.
"I don't know what he was doing up there in the box (for his goal), it wasn't our orders that's for sure, but he did and got on the end of it and it came at a good time for us because the Norwegians started the game strongly.
"It's a terrific start to the year for us.
"Now we've three away friendlies in Luxembourg, a trip to Iceland and a difficult one in Holland, and then a home game with Georgia before the serious stuff starts in September."
