Toshack is looking ahead to the final two qualifiers |
John Toshack will turn his attention away from the disappointment of Cyprus and San Marino by focusing on Wales' final Euro 2008 qualifiers. The Wales boss is attempting to rally his "pampered" troops ahead of their final home game against the Republic of Ireland before going to Germany.
"We need to get ourselves sorted out, grit our teeth and go for it," he said.
"I would like to think they (the players) realise what an important game the Republic of Ireland will be."
Toshack launched a stinging attack on his players' attitudes, lifestyle and commitment following the 3-1 defeat in Cyprus
And despite it being followed up with a stuttering 2-1 win in San Marino, he knows he has to win back some players who were upset at being branded spoilt and pampered.
But he still believes the corner can be turned.

"We can still get something out of this group and if we beat Ireland we can go above them," he said.
"We will have a few players back with us we have missed on this trip, you never know what we can achieve.
"And even away to Germany in the last game we could be facing a team trying out new people.
"This has not been a good week. We have got to start to push ourselves even more. There is still a lot of work to do."
Wales face the Republic of Ireland in Cardiff on 17 November, then play their final Group D match away to Germany in Frankfurt on 21 November.
Germany and the Czech Republic have already qualified for the finals.
